The campground features a barbecue and a garden. We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more. Cleonie is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly. The overall accommodation has everything you could want, including a decent size fridge, incredibly comfy bed, a little TV and WiFi as well as plenty of pots, plates etc to cook with. It is an amazing location, close to supermarkets and some of the most beautiful parts of the Lakes but is a real tranquil spot - enjoy the hot tub, once you get the hang of it (thanks to Cleonie for showing us to load it full of wood). The best part - the resident goats!!

The campground with a balcony and mountain views features 3 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchenette with an oven and a microwave, and 1 bathroom with a shower. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Received directions and lockbox pin code almost instantly, was able to store my pedal bike on the patio, the caravan was spotlessly clean and the wifi was fast, theirs a Smart TV with free view, I used it to watch YouTube, appliances were easy to use, fresh milk of my choice was waiting in the fridge along with quality biscuits, the place is scenic, I was able to get fresh sea air whilst I rode my bike around the coastal path, exactly what I was after for a overnight static caravan stay.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Sunny Mount Glamping Pod is set in Long Marton, 49 km from Derwentwater Lake and 17 km from Brougham Castle. This campground features free private parking and private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is situated 21 km from Askham Hall. Beautiful area, very peaceful and quiet. Pod is cosy, bathroom right next door. Loved hearing the horses whinny in the morning. Scones were a nice surprise treat! Carole gave inch perfect directions to the property. Thank you!

The 5-star campground has lake views and is 8.2 km from World of Beatrix Potter. The campground also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The Lakeside Glamping pod was really well thought out. There was a fully stocked 'kitchen' (utensils, mixing bowls etc) with 2 electric hobs and a microwave. Welcome pack with 2 mini bottles of wine, and bare essentials (biscuits, mini milk jiggers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) presented nicely on the table. Bathroom contained mini toiletries like a hotel room would, and there was a small washing up pack by the sink (sponge, washing up liquid, 2 x tea towels and a cloth). If you arrive late and night and haven't been to the shops it was these little finishing touches that were lovely. There was also at least 6 USB sockets in addition to plugs, as well as a torch. Lots of local information in a folder including walks and stile free walks/trails for the less mobile.
