What a find, right in the center of Amed! We've been traveling for a while now and this room was one of our favorites, super clean, comfortable and the shower had hot water and good pressure which isn't the standard here.

I like everything about this place!!! Very calm, far from the road, in the middle of nature. Beautiful room setup, the room we have been is very new, lots of space, witn a good outside kitchen! Overall everything was perfect!! The owner is a very nice lady!!!

We really loved the stay at Mathis. The hotel is beautifully decorated and cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend to stay there to enjoy the view and relax.

Above all, we were most impressed with the beautiful staff at Damar Sanjaya Uttama! Such kind and warm people, nothing was too much trouble!! The room was spacious, clean and definitely value for money!! R.E location, it’s in the quieter part of Amed, which we actually really loved. Surrounded by corn fields, banana tree’s and palms; with a short 1 minute walk to the volcanic black sand beach- we couldn’t recommend more highly !!

The private swimming pool and the wonderful mountain views. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away. Some lovely restaurants. Aldi Resto and Amed beach hotel were great. There is a cleaner (Kadec) who is very nice who comes around in the morning. Apart from that you are on your own So you need to go into the village to enquire about snorkeling, etc. There is a well enough stocked small supermarket near the beach 10 min walk. Wi-Fi was very good. I managed to conduct a webinar.

Absolutely amazing views from the villa and the private infinity pool. Everything is very luxurious and well thought out, without being too much. Staff is so nice and welcoming and helps you with anything you might need. The food was very good as well and all meals felt generous (nice steady breakfast, three course menu if your choice for lunch and dinner).

A Magical Stay in Eastern Bali We had an incredible stay at Villa Mayu, a true haven of peace nestled in the lush nature of Jasri, East Bali.
