The breakfast and hospitality here were the best I have ever experienced at a bed and breakfast. We arrived after dark and had to leave just as the sun was coming up, so we could only briefly see the beautiful view of the lake and didn't really have a chance to sit by the fireplace. We will have to come back to enjoy and relax!

I mean it when I say truly outstanding! The most amazing stay with our 3 children, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Facilities are amazing, there is nothing you will need that is not there, the house is so tastefully decorated and just lovely. Beautiful surroundings, really peaceful. Everything is absolutely perfect

The location was phenomenal and the cabin was amazing! We cannot wait to go back! We only booked 2 nights but we would absolutely book for more next time. Our hosts was so lovely and gave us all the details in advance that we didn't have to think about a thing! Not 1 bad thing to say honestly but we didn't want to leave today lol

I hate booking somewhere without reviews and dont normally do reviews. This was a great find the cabin was exactly like photos 3 really good sized double bedrooms with good quality bedding 3 full bathrooms the place was really clean location was a dream in the middle of a forest but still a 5 min drive to a town with plenty of shops bars restaurants the balcony where massive and so nice to sit at nights the area was amazing really perfect for a family i would highly recommend these cabins for a family vacation cant wait to go back i would bring fishing rods river in forest is 100 yards away

Wonderful location. The Demesne is a very special place. You can enjoy long walks around it in perfect peace and lovely woodlands. The Gate Lodge is the perfect blend of classiness without fussiness. The host was very responsive and everso helpful but gave us complete space to ourselves. The garden was private and quiet except for the birds. The kitchen was well equipped for those of us who enjoy cooking. The beds and sofas were very comfy. The showers were powerful. There was nothing I'd have wanted to be any different or could imagine could be improved.

Idyllic setting, tastefully decorated, ambient lighting and a lovely relaxing environment, I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Peaceful, tranquil and the relaxing natural forest environment, birds, squirrels and the heavenly pine scent. So lovely, thank you, would love to return.

Great host, before arrival contacted me and sent across all the things too do and places to visit. Which is a beautiful part off the country. 😁. Couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, made my stay a great weekend and was ever only a call/message away if we needed anything or any advise. Fabulous cabin, plenty off space and great amenities and outdoor space. Can't wait to get back again.
