We picked Chiara Lodge for its location: close to train station and bus line. David and his brother took very good care of us, explaining how to navigate the transportation options. They served a very good breakfast; who wouldn’t want cake for breakfast?!

Nice and cozy accommodation a few minutes walk from the Mestre station, newly decorated, the bed is comfortable, everything is absolutely clean. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. Highly recommended.

The property is located inside an antique palazzo in a very quiet part of Venice. Very easy to walk there from Santa Lucia Train Station. A long walk to San Marco and Rialto, but I appreciate that the area is outside the tumultuos tourist routes. The apartment is lovely, very well organized and comfrotable for several people. A wonderful surprise: an "altana" a little terrace on top of Venice roofs. A marvellous place. Communication with the host, Petra, was fluid and easy. Thanks Petra!
