This camping spot feels like it was made just for me. There's no artificial setup—just pure, unspoiled nature. The view of the mountains and sunrise right in front of me is breathtaking. The nights are chilly and windy, and though I initially booked for one night, I’ve ended up staying for three. I wish I could stay for a month! Viraj and Hiran's family, who own this place, are incredibly welcoming and make you feel like you're at home. The food, cooked by their mom, is absolutely amazing—truly unreal! I hope they keep this place as it is, free from artificial changes. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. We have to walk for 1 KM down, Not hot shower even it's cold climate, no Electricity, But these are the uniqueness of this place, that's why we cane here!

We had wonderful stay at the place. The surrounding settings of the hotel is hilly and it was blessed with super view. Room is vary spacious and nicely laid to have maximum benifit of the view. Amazing fusion food with varry attentive staff. Every one there to help you with smile. They set out our dinner at outside terrece. Vary Romantic. We will come back again soon once we finish our round trip.

Amazing place, thanks to Lal property manager for all the help and for the exceptional service highly recommended, its close to Ella but away from too many tourists. There is a tv with English movies, washing machine and cooking facilities we had a great time and would stay again, thanks Lal!

Hidden Gem in Bandarawela area. More close to Ella , even for dining. They have booked train tickets for us and arranged a Wonderfull day tour to Hortain Plains by train & had a lovely journey with their modified jeep. Place was so eco friendly & nice architectural design. All staff well trained & good with communication. Best food with unique way. Highly recommended even for multiple days.

Our host was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way to meet our every want and need. He drove us and picked us up, suggested activities, and helped us out in an emergency when we needed to go to the local hospital. The rooms boast amazing views of the jungle, which is full of fireflies at night. They also have a projector so you can stream entertainment of your choice. 10/10 I strongly recommend Fern Hill cabins for your stay in Ella.

This is a real gem. We booked the family room and the double room which were both clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The view is just incredible and so relaxing. The scenery in the morning is just amazing when you see and hear all the surroundings waking up. From the start, we were welcome with such a nice friendly atmosphere and they went over their duty to make us happy. We all absolutely loved it and will come back. Had a wonderful stay here! The location is beautiful, you see the Nine Arches Bridge from the room! The room was clean and nice :) The family was so nice and kind to us, and here I had the best coconut rotti with dhal curry (homemade). Eat here don’t go outside ahaha
