The location was scenic and peaceful. The gardens were stunning, so we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views. John was extremely accommodating. We had to change our booking dates at short notice, and somehow, he managed to make it all work with no stress for us.

We loved the setting, easy and safe parking, and the facilities provided in the lodge were all you could wish for. As well as having a spacious tastefully decorated private bedroom/lounge/bathroom (separate shower and huge bath), the extensive communal areas within in the lodge lodge provided several areas where you could relax in peace reading a book, watching TV or just soaking up the sun. These areas lead into an equally spacious and well appointed dining room / kitchen, fully equipped and stocked with all items found in your own homes kitchen drawers. The country-like location just on the outskirts of Queenstown was peaceful and, depending on where you were travelling, negated the queues of slow moving traffic found closer to Queenstown. Jennifer was a great hostess and added her own touch that made you feel welcome, e.g, chocolates on the bedside table, fresh flowers, etc.

short answer: everything. We loved staying here it was very comfortable and had everything you could need. the location was nice and quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of Queenstown but close enough so that getting in to explore or shop was pretty easy to do.

Cottages at Kinross is located just 25 minutes' drive from Queenstown and features stunning mountain and vineyard views.

Where do we start? Juliet was an amazing host, catered to my dietary needs and even bought me freshly baked banana bread with a candle for my birthday. There’s a great view of the shot over jet, beautiful sunrise from our room and the snow made it that little bit better. A fantastic, modern place to stay right next to the center of Queenstown. Spacious room with everything you need and more (delicious hot chocolate!), great laundry facilities and common kitchen (with good cooking facilities, an air fryer and tv, sofas and all!?). The sunny terrace has fantastic views to the lake and surrounding mountains. The place has an amazing price-quality ratio. I want to send my sincere gratitude to the staff as they really went the extra mile for our comfort: we got to leave our luggage to the lodge for the duration of our roadtrip and even wash a machine of laundry when we came back. This really made a difference for our trip and helped us out so much! THANK YOU for a great stay – highly recommended for everyone to stay here!
