This place is perfect in so many ways. Host meeting you on arrival - staff appear whether you wander out of your room and ask if they can assist. Amazing service. Every member of the team was perfectly polite, engaging, and responsive. They will organise anything that you want - trips across the surrounding area. One couple had a helicopter trip and it literally landed on the lawn of the place. That is defeintly the way to end a long day! Location - stunning is the word you will probably read most about this place. And it actually is. Room - we had the room with the terrace - I would book this again - as you walk straight out from your room into a courtyard which is in the shade and sun in the afternoon. This is an all-inclusive accommodation - it has to be as it is a trek from the local towns. The food was extremely good. It was never too much or too little the chief has got the balance right. At the end of the trip I left items in the room (very annoyed with myself) the owner looked after them and made sure we got them back. Everything was amazing

The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the kitchen, which was equipped with excellent amenities that made self-catering a breeze. Merrill was amazing, what a fabulous place she has. Very rustic but super comfortable. We loved our cabin, bed so comfy and cosy. Shower and loo block very clean and well equipped, extra towels everywhere. Kitchen and dining area was fantastic, well equipped and clean, everything there and for use. Lovely to sit in lounge area after dinner and read. Merrill was very friendly and helpful. She told us loads about area and where to go. Such an enthusiastic lady, she made the place even better. Would definitely go again and would have stayed longer if we had time. Loved the location. Scenery great. River beautiful.

Great place! We absolutely loved the vibes, room, beautifull nature around the property and the kind host. The place is great value for money. I would highly recommend the place.

It was clean , not far from town, farmhouse and excellent and friendly host. She made bread for us and also introduced our kids to the farm animals which we loved. My son misses kea the resident dog.
