We stayed hear for a night while checking out the national park, the location is excellent just minutes from the entrance to the park. The cabin was clean and had everything you need for a family of 4. Parking is out front and there is a nice porch to take in the scenery. I would definitely stay here again

Very comfortable stay. Perfect location before entering the park. Nice bar and restaurant overlooking the river. Had a great evening in the bar with the locals and other visitors, mucho craic.

It’s an absolutely amazing place in the middle of the mountains, far away from the rush and “civilization.” A perfect spot for a calm and relaxing getaway. We stayed in the Monarch Studio — a very cozy wooden room with a private bathroom and a terrace. It was fully equipped with towels, bath soap, a heater/fan, fridge, electricity (including an electric kettle for boiling water) and a French press. The resort’s restaurant offers very tasty breakfasts and dinners. The staff were super nice and helpful — we arrived late, after the check-in time, but everything was ready for us. I highly recommend hiking from Mineral King up to Monarch Lake and further to Sawtooth Pass — it’s an absolutely breathtaking trail (the section up to the lake is easy, but the climb to the pass is quite challenging). I can definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in nature.
