The food here was sooooooo amazing. Starting with beef in garlic, beef noodles and beef fried rice. All amazing. The homestay is quite big and the pool area is so nice. We stayed here twice, once in a normal room and once in Bangalow. Obviously the bangalow is closer to the pool and outdoor area which makes it nicer. Family is very nice. You can rent motor bikes and that makes the location even better away from the town. So glad that I stayed here :)

The view from the terrace overlooking the greenery was absolutely breathtaking – a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The highlight was the food. They served some of the best local dishes I’ve ever had in Vietnam. Yen offers great value for money and is the perfect base for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Cat Ba Island. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area – it’s a true hidden gem!

Beuatiful place with beautiful garden full of frogs, butterflies and other insects. The host was very helpful and took us to a sunset tour in Lan Ha bay with night kayaking, which was perfect. Sadly there is still a lot of trash in the bay.

This little beach bungalow was amazing. It was super clean and cute, and even the towels smelled amazing. The beach that this bungalow is located on is very beautiful. It's just outside of town, so it's nice and quiet, but close enough to walk into town if you wanted. Our host was very kind and accommodating. We rented scooters through him for a very reasonable price, and he had them dropped off at the bungalow for us. Highly recommend this place!
