What an amazing little paradise! I stayed for a few days in a shared dorm after El Camino de La Muerte and it was great! Very easy to get to with public transportation (to/from La Paz). They give you a map of the property so you can go explore all of its trails and viewpoints. Great place to enjoy nature and relax! There are 2 pools and even a yoga/meditation room. It’s a 20 minute walk to the main town. The restaurant has really good food, portions and fair prices.

Everything was perfect, location Amazing we could see the sunrise from our room, and the view on the lake. Staff was really kind and available to make us dinner in the evening, they even offer free room service :)

Sonia und Oscar sind sehr liebenswerte Menschen- fürs Abendessen und Frühstück wurde meine Meinung gefragt 😋! Sonia erklärte mir auch gerne einige traditionelle Bräuche ihrer Kultur. Wenn ich wieder auf die Isla del Sol komme, dann hierher!

If you want what is arguably the best view on Isla del Sol right from your hotel room then look no further 🤩 – the room was also nice and warm, with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is also excellent, especially if you're doing the popular "2 day / 1 night Copacabana + Isla del Sol" itinerary, as you can easily hike the south part of the island on the first day, and then do the south–north through hike (or the opposite) on the second day. The host can even help you with luggage logistics for a small fee in case you're pressed for time due to the boat schedules. Plus, the price even included breakfast which was great!
