Comfortable Accommodation: Phazama Farm in Maun offers a chalet with a sun terrace, garden, and free WiFi in public areas. Stunning place. Chalets are off grid, which is wonderfully peaceful. Beautiful view of the flood plains with exceptional sunsets. Katja and Peter were wonderful, very accommodating, helpful and kind. The chalet had all we needed for a comfortable stay.

Food was amazing, everyone as really attentive and they really go beyond to make our stay magical. Nature is just breathtaking… hundreds of different birds species, hippos, otters. Activities where really pleasing and our guide thomas was very profesional and excellent guide. Thank you for everything!

Our favorite new stay in Maun before & after visiting the delta. What a GEM! It is a beautiful lodge on the bank of the Boteti river, but even has beautiful views when the river is dry. The service is exceptional and feels 5*. The welcome at the reception is incredibly professional and welcoming. When we came back for the second time they were so happy they put us with a big smile at the bar with a cold drink, so they could make our (already clean and prepped) chalet even nicer with an elaborate flower and towel decoration on the bed. Chello and Kelly, the way you handle the reception and welcome at the lodge is like a warm bath! You two are amazing and it wouldn't be the same without you two & a shoutout to the ladies who make the rooms so gorgeous!!! Also the lodge manageress makes it a point to greet you individually which is also very appreciated at several points during your stay. It seems you have the same waiter in the restaurant throughout your stay (or at least we had , both visits) which is a nice touch.. All the rooms are separate cottages with thatched roofing and part mosquito gauze for airflow along the roof. Very clean, good beds, nice bathrooms and a shower with a ton of pressure. There are rooms with aircon and less river view (but still a nice view) and rooms with the best view but without aircon. I believe there are also family chalets or doubles and a wellness/spa/lounge area, but not sure. The food is great! Don't hesitate to stay here! Thank you from D&A

Unser 4-nächtiger Aufenthalt in der Shakawe River Lodge war absolut wunderbar! Die Lodge liegt in einem echten grünen Paradies – ruhig, friedlich und voller Leben. Wir haben die komfortablen, gut ausgestatteten Einrichtungen und den wunderschönen, ungestörten Blick auf den Fluss sowohl von unserem Bungalow als auch von allen öffentlichen Bereichen sehr genossen. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich – immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und mit einem Lächeln zur Stelle. Das Restaurant bot einen tollen Service und hervorragend zubereitete Speisen – besonders das Rindersteak, der Fisch und die Pizza waren einfach großartig! Die privaten Bootsfahrten sind ein absolutes Muss! Wir haben festgestellt, dass viele Gäste zum Angeln hierherkommen, was wir diesmal nicht ausprobiert haben – es scheint aber eine sehr beliebte und lohnende Aktivität zu sein. Ein ruhiger, entspannter und äußerst komfortabler Ort zum Abschalten – wir haben jeden Moment genossen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!
