My 7-yr old daughter and I loved our stay at La Finca Lodge. Everything was perfect - the peaceful location, the staff, Carmen’s cooking, the gardens and the animals, and of course the pool. It is a little gem and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Weve stayed here 7 years ago as a couple and now with my husbands whole family. The views of the volcano from here are unbeatable. Rustic design with the highest comfort level and spectacular greenery makes a stay in this place unique.

The bungalows and cottages offer rustic décor, a desk, fan, wardrobe, wooden floors and a fridge. The bathrooms are private and come with bath, shower, hairdryer and toiletries. All accommodations feature garden and volcano views. Arenal Oasis Ecolodge is an absolute delight! It truly is an oasis. We stayed in a triple bungalow. It was minimal but spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Towel sculptures every morning! The food was fantastic. Best way to start every day is with their traditional breakfast. Don’t forget the Lizano salsa! Our favourite dinner was the sea bass. Everything was plentiful and fresh. The service was outstanding, especially Jerold at reception as well as Valerie and Alan in the restaurant who got to know us day one. Peter, one of the younger brothers/owner was also very friendly and kind. The property is exceptional. Wild and natural but also maintained. The trails are easy and beautiful. The butterfly dome was an unexpected treat. Nature is a bound here! Birdwatching by day, frog watching by night, and monkey watching at dawn and dusk!
