The property was everything we could have hoped for and more. This space is so much more than you would expect from the incredible rooms, to the animals on the property, the trails, the staff, the food, the pool space - everything is impeccable! The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better introduction to Costa Rica. We cant wait to tell all of our friends about this gem and hopefully we will be back soon!

Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails also features an on-site bird sanctuary that has around 500 different species of birds; other recommended activities include tours of Arenal Volcano's lava flows, exploring the several nearby waterfalls, or climbing the 28 m. (92 ft.) wildlife observation tower, The Nest. Arenal Lake is an excellent site to practice sports fishing. There are also 11 km of walking trails throughout the property, or guests can just relax in the hot tub or have a massage in the spa. The grounds were amazing! Beautiful gardens, lots of colourful birds with a spectacular backdrop of the volcano.

The cabin is well equipped with everything you would need for meals. The benches outside are so cute and perfect to sit down and watch all the beautiful birds that come by. All accommodations feature garden and volcano views. This was the best and most amazing place I ever stayed !! The little house was very cute, middle of the jungle, fully with the animals ! The people where so friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the property was delicious and the night walk we did there was incredible. Loved it and already miss it
