The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. Renting a scooter directly at the accommodation was super easy, making it simple to explore the island at our own pace. We also loved the location: it’s just a short walk to Vegan Soul Kitchen, one of the best restaurants on Nusa Penida, and the sunsets from the bungalows are absolutely magical. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained — with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Thank you to the whole team — we’d love to come back!

This place also offers a yoga course as well. Staying here truly refreshed our mind. Since we did a road trip from Jakarta, we could have a great relaxation just by laying in bed doing nothing here. At night we did stargazing and I swear the stars were sparkling so exquisitely! Even my friend who stays in South Bali said that she was only seeing 1 star at the time I sent her the picture of the sky above us! Overall, you should give this place a try while staying around Menjangan.

It’s a very peaceful place surrounded by rice fields. The jungle around is spectacular, with many geckos, fireflies, and cicadas that we could hear and observe. Dewi and her team were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They were preparing for us delicious, homemade food each day and helped to organize jungle trekking with guide and local transportation. We also met many wonderful people during our stay. It felt as if all the guests were not strangers to one another, but good neighbors and companions. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. A huge recommendation for all nature lovers!

Ngurah Rai International Airport is 54 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. special thanks to the friendly and lovely hosts we met - Gede, the dad, and uncle - during our 2 night stay. we booked 2 rooms side by side that opened into lush greenery and mount agung in the distance. rooms were big (great affect on wellbeing, surprisingly). very clean, no dust even on the ceiling fan and on the floor under the bed (something fell under the bed so i had a look). comfy bed. great sleep. breakfast is served around 8-9am and brought to your terrace. imagine sipping on coffee with a magnificent view in front of you. warm water may run out if you take long showers. soap, shampoo provided. no issues with wifi. aircon works in case it gets warm in the day. but with the chilly weather at night there was no need for aircon. hairdryer available. if you want to hire driver to bring you up to Besakih, you can ask Gede (host) who speaks both indo and english. he will bring there and wait for 1.5h until you are done. he brought us to a restaurant for lunch after - it had an amazing view of rice terraces! and then we swung by a mini mart for magnum ice cream afterwards as the day grew warmer. for dinner, i’d highly recommend Warung Ibu Ida which is 5 minutes walk away. managed by a lovely grandma who makes amazing home cooked dishes. amongst others, get the curry chicken (comes with rice), and u must try her pisang goreng for dessert.
