Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

The cabins are tucked in a mangrove forest, and each can fit up to 5-6 pax. The beach is just right in front of the place with the cabins overlooking the beach itself. You can park your cars literally in front of the cabins. The owner is super friendly as well! The inside of the cabin is clean and cosy. Each cabin comes with a balcony furnished with tables and chairs, a barbecue pits, and a sink - perfect for your barbecue night! We brought our own portable stove and did some light cooking for breakfast. The wind from the sea is chilling, and you can enjoy the night enjoying the breeze while barbecuing and having some drinks.

They were very lovely and even made us homemade donuts on the house!! The lodge is very spacious and comfy! We also rented a motorbike which was in very good condition. Absolutely recommend the place! 11/10 :D !!!

A sun terrace and a private beach area can be found at Tammoyo Place, along with a garden. We liked the remote location. We had hut next to the sea. The food was excellent and was prepered according to our requests (2 persons are vegetarians and 2 person sea food lovers).

Accessible only via a 600-step staircase, the property is located adjacent to the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve. Guests will have access to some of Sabah's most unique wildlife. Boat cruises and jungle-trekking activities are included in every stay. We were very glad to have spent three beautiful days and two nights in this cabin. What impressed me most was the food here every day. It was so delicious and very professional. Jason showed great care to every guest and remembered everyone's preferences, making us feel at home. Moreover, Jason is proficient in multiple languages, which is amazing. During our communication with him, we also gained a deeper understanding of the land we came to, and he provided us with many suggestions for our future travels in Southeast Asia. Every day we were looking forward to what animals we would encounter the next day. There were gains as well as regrets. We saw many kinds of hornbills and proboscis monkeys, and also had two close encounters with the orangutans living near the cabin. But does this mean there will be a next time and the time after that? It was a great experience and we will come again. Wish TheLast Frontier all the best.
