Hidden Gem in the Heart of Chapora – Highly Recommended! WOODMOOD Cottages is truly a hidden gem – tucked away in a quiet corner, yet perfectly located close to everything you need. It’s just a 7-minute ride by motorbike to the beach (and yes, they rent bikes too!), and only a 2-minute walk to the lively main street of Chapora full of bars and restaurants. With only two cottages on the property, it feels incredibly private and peaceful. The cottages are new, very clean, and clearly well taken care of. The AC and fridge are both brand new, and everything feels fresh and comfortable. The garden area is a dream – hammocks swinging under the coconut trees, a perfect spot to just relax and unwind. It’s hidden from the main road, so there are no random passersby, and the overall vibe is cozy and secure. The two sisters who run the place are amazing – incredibly kind, hospitable, and always going the extra mile to make you feel at home. They live right next door, so it also feels very safe. While the evenings can have a bit of background noise from the nearby pubs, it’s nothing too disturbing – and honestly, being walking distance to all the nightlife is a big plus! I felt truly welcomed, had an amazing time, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful yet well-connected spot in Chapora!

L’hébergement THE ENCHANTING NEST offre une vue sur la montagne, à environ 24 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Basilique du Bon Jésus de Goa. Il possède un balcon et une bouilloire. The cottage is well-equipped and has strong wifi, hot water, A/C, and a fabulous veranda. We were very comfortable during our 1-month stay. The gardens are beautiful and full of birdsong, butterflies, and local wildlife. But the best part of our time there was the hospitality of hosts Vinda and Nitin. We were constantly offered fresh coconuts and breakfast treats, local lunch dishes, and afternoon snacks. They loaned us books about Goa, provided SO much insight and info about what to see and do, and even welcomed us into their home for a chat about travel and life. We enjoyed getting to know the village of Borim and using Vinda's recommended driver, Sandip, to go farther afield, exploring the beaches and historic towns of the area. We fell in love with Goa and with the Enchanting Nest and are already planning a return trip ASAP!
