The hotel is located in Pink City, so it is possible to walk to the palace and attractions around and take in the buzz of the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable. The terrace on the rooftop was so nice to hang out. Guru, who runs the place, is a fantastic host and an amazing cook. Will come here afain if visiting Jaipur.

The place is charming. We loved everything about the place - the courtyard with bougainvillea, the cozy dining room, the vegetable patches. the food , the hospitality and the advice given to us.
The design of the rooms is lovely. It uses local handicrafts - I especially liked the embroidery , and our daughter liked the window niche where all her toys could sleep. You can feel it is done with love and attention to detail. The shower had really hot water. Everything, of course, is impeccably clean.
The food is great. The milk products come from their own cow and many veggies come from their garden. Given the fact that the food is vegetarian, the variety is amazing. It tastes great - real Indian homemade food! You even feel a little bit like part of the family.
Gajendra arranged a great guide for us to show the havelis. - the reason for our coming.
We took a camel card to drive through the surrounding fields.
Do not miss a cooking class! I was hesitating at the beginning as I took so many cooking classes already. Luckily, our daughter insisted. It might be the best cooking class I ever took. Gajendra and Gayatri showed us everything - the techniques, the old and new kitchen appliances, the local plants and, of course, many spices. For example ghee was shown from the milk (from their cow) stage through curd stage to butter stage. Some recipes were that local that it is difficult to translate the names of the ingredients. It was a highlight of our trip. And it was amazingly tasty. It was unforgettable.
All in all we had amazing time. Would happily stay a bit longer.

This old hunting lodge has been refurbished to a very high standard. Additional cottages have been added and if you like feeling as if you are in the National park with nature all around, this is the place to be.
The bedding was all new and the bed very comfortable indeed. The bath room overlooking the jungle is an additional feature and yes there is enough hot water to fill it!
The pool is beautifully kept and the sitting out areas are numerous so you never feel crowded and can move around with the sun to not as you wish!
Each cottage has a private terrace so you can be separate too.
The food is freshly cooked and my gluten intolerance was expertly catered for.
The manager has been an experienced guide in the past so was very aware of all our needs. Taking us for a walk through the lower hills to a reservoir where we could spot many birds which is what we wanted. There are safaris to see leopards which was fun….tigers too are being reintroduced.
The Ramgarh Lodge, Jaipur – IHCL SeleQtions is located within beautiful landscaped gardens, offering stunning views of mountain ranges.

One of the best acommodations I have ever stayed at ! (by far)
Indu and her family are extremely kind and I was heavily pampered during my stay there !
They gave me an amazing room, really big and clean, super comfortable bed and very quiet. I slept like a baby and felt so happy there ! The garden is beautiful, you can spot birds and squirrels all the time and Indu´s son is really friendly, he likes engaging in conversation with guests to make them feel welcome. This family is awesome! best hosts!
Indu prepared my meals (sooo yummy!) everyday and even a lunch box , so I could take the food to the national park (stunning and walkable distance from the lodge, just 10 minutes). It was always fresh and tremendously tasty food (very good price also) . They lent me a guide so I could identify all the spotted birds in the national park. Loved this place, hope I can go back soon .
