There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. We stayed here for two nights in August 2024. It's a small, family run cottage. The rooms are small and there is a steep ladder up to the sleeping area, but it has everything that you need. Yes, there's no TV, but you probably won't need it anyway. Breakfast was delicious and plenty, with fresh coffee. Laundry available. We had a great time watching squirrels with the owner and were received very warmly!

I like everything about this accommodation. Well designed, well thought through to provide comfort and convenience to the guest. Nice long bath. Within walking distance to the ski area. Friendly staff who try their best to help. They provide free shuttle when I arrived/departed.

The Bears House was an amazing place to stay for skiing in Furano. 20 minutes from the resort, it lets you stay out of the city in the countryside, but you re close enough to get groceries or dinner in town. Eating at the restaurant next door that Dan and Aya run was a highlight of our groups entire trip to Hokkaido. The hosts removed all snow and provided an amazing place for a ski trip destination.

Jimmy was very accommodating and helpful even before and throughout the trip, offering advice and even rides to the ski slopes and Furano city wherever possible. The place is well organized, kept warm during the winter season and clean. Water and hot coffee is provided free at the hall area. Jimmy cares to check your schedule and offer to send and pick you up from the ski resort or town area if there is no other conflicting schedule. His wife is an exceptional cook and we highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the Pension - it is affordable and full of warmth. The serving is better than many restaurants food. A must try if your trip schedule fits the timing. We had a great stay here and will come back again.

There is also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a fridge, a microwave, and a stovetop. I love the property, the Donkey theme and the staff out there. We reached Naka Furano station late evening and the Property staff were gracious enough to pick us up. The breakfast is must try.
