We stayed for 2 nights at Hokkoma cottage and loved our stay. The property itself was wonderful, had everything we needed and felt like home. Our trip was focused on taking advantage of Aso's beautiful nature and the cottage's location allowed us to do this. It was also great to know that there was a large bath to use after the hike to soak our tired legs!

All the experiences are perfect! Great hotsprings, lovely room decorations, beautiful garden, incredible astronomical telescope, delicious breakfast, friendly and hospitable host...... My family and I really enjoy the moment. Look forward to coming back in the future.

The owner was extremely nice!!! We were late for Yukata renting and I asked her for some advices. Instead she called the rental place and arranged that for us, return our Yukata the next morning when we checked out. (Normally you should return the Yukata by four pm but she talked to the rental place for us!)

Very cute cabin in the woods with great communication from property hosts to make sure all went smoothly. There was a fire already burning for us when we arrived.

A charming wooden cottage with a great covered terrace. A large onsen that we booked for ourselves. A lot of birds and foxes wandering around the parking lot in the morning!
