Okazaki-san is a fantastic and hilarious host. The accommodation is roomy and exceptionally comfortable. The area around Ine-Ohara is one of the most beautiful parts of Japan! Highly recommended.

Fantastic studio, really spatious, with great large hard bed and western furniture. It feels a bit like staying at a fancy bar with a bathtub :D. The decor is really unique. Everything works. Location was perfect for what we needed - the conference centre. Lots of shops nearby, good transport links by bus or a metro some distance away. The owner went out of his way to help us and be nice - thank you so much!

During my trip around Japan I stayed in 4 different hotels and this was definitely my favorite, I had the best room of all, the bed was the widest (considering the Japanese standard), the bathroom was a little wider than normal, I stayed on the 10th floor and had a good view, in general the facilities of the whole hotel are very good. As for the location it was close to a subway station which I could walk to, Pontocho is very close, which I liked since I spent several nights going to bars, there are convenience stores nearby, and the area is very quiet.

The cabins are bigger than expected loved that you had a locker in there also with a key so you don’t have to keep going to your baggage. Offered snacks and water. This place is lovely. Large, clean and a great location right near the castle and bus stops

Location is everything with this property, which is a beautifully renovated funaya right on the water in Ine fishing village. It's self catering accommodation and we hadn't made any reservations at the small number of local restaurants. However, we found a lovely place right across the road from our house. Our room overlooked the water and despite the wet weather the views were amazing. Our host also arranged a private boat tour of the bay for us, which picked us up from our own jetty! A magical stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous house in a quiet street of Kyoto. Both very well thought out as well as nicely executed interior design. Very pleasant contact with the owner. Would highly recommend staying here.
