The camp sites were charming, secluded sites in the dune forest. The common gardens lovely, with lots of shady places to hang out- and the views over the ocean magnificent. A lovely location. Eco Villas Watamu ligt in Watamu met uitzicht op het zwembad en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. The lady (owner) treated us in the best way possibile, she is super nice and kind and ready to face all of our needs. She is also an excellent cooker and she made a delicious dinner and the breakfast is amazing (fruits, pancakes, eggs, muffins etc). The place is sourranded by nature and it seems to be in a peaceful little paradise. I would highly recommended to choose this place to stay, it is also close to the city centre (5 min by boda boda). I will come back here for sure!

It is in a secluded quiet spot with no external noise which makes your stay totally relaxing and calm . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . Cocktails first class!! Staff are attentive and very friendly . Fabulous pool and relaxation areas and wonderful garden . Beautiful view of the sea.

Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers ligt aan de Kilifi Creek, op slechts 3 km buiten de stad en wordt omgeven door een gemeenschappelijk bos. The staff, food, pool, and location are top notch. Anything you need the staff will help you. The kitchen is very continent for cooking your own meals, with a grocery store not too far away from the hostel. It’s also only 5 minutes walk away from an amazing beach. Also, the dorm beds are out of this world… biggest and comfiest hostel beds I have ever slept on
