Small, simple, well maintainted, and very practical hotel. +2. I recommend staying at the TENT ROOMS. it's a great experience of you like adventure. +3. The owner and host, THISARA is very attentive, helpful and an absolute professional. We wish him great success. +4. The husband wife duo staff members NISHANI & ISHAN were absolutely fantastic. They make your stay smooth. JAYALATH, the 3rd staff member, was so helpful and did a great job organising the BBQ dinner. +5. A BBQ dinner along with local food items from the menu is a must. Don't miss that. Make sure to do that. You will love it. A great experience, especially for families with children. +6. They organised our Yala jungle safari with a very good driver who spoke English, and did everything he can to make our jungle safari memorable. A big thank you to him. +7. Overall, this is a really good small adventure hotel that is well run by THISARA. Guests can relax in the garden at the property. Wadula Safari was amazing. We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

You feel very close to nature, with lots of trees, plants, birds. It is right on a lake. The owner, Anne, the manager, Amal, and each and every staff member were incredibly kind and professional. Our every need was met. We had full board, and the food exceeded our expectations! We were so full! There were lots of choices, but we had Sri Lankan food, it was just delicious! We had Tranquil book us two safaris, and we loved them! We didn’t see leopards, but another group did the same day we went out. We saw plenty of wildlife. A bonus was the fresh, clean pool for a morning or afternoon swim, with chairs to relax in the sun or shade. Thank you, Tranquil, for your hospitality. We’ll be back! We recommend this place and the park nearby, over the busier places.

It is a perfect place to relax after a daylong safari, either in the pool or in one of the large rooms. The bathroom (especially the shower) was one of the best in Sri lanka. The personal was really carrying and nice. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The manager communicated with kindness and rapidly. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we recommend it to everyone.

The team was incredibly accommodating and generous—surprising us with a free upgrade and always ready to help, even with last-minute requests like organizing a safari and a fishing trip. The food was delicious, and Jula, who manages the house, was both precise and friendly. Dimuthu and his family were attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and well-organized getaway.
