Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, absolut sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum guten Leben braucht. Der Besitzer war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit – er hat uns viele Tipps für gutes Essen und Ausflüge gegeben und stand bei allen Fragen jederzeit zur Seite. Der Check-in verlief völlig unkompliziert und auch beim Check-out konnten wir die Uhrzeit flexibel gestalten, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Die Lage ist perfekt: In nur etwa 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Zentrum von Grand Baie, gleichzeitig eignet sich die Unterkunft ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge über die ganze Insel. Wir würden die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkung jedem weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder! ⸻ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We stayed for one week as a couple in this accommodation in Grand Baie and felt completely comfortable. The accommodation was very nice, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need for a good stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful – he gave us great tips for restaurants and excursions and was always available for any questions. Check-in was very easy, and check-out was flexible regarding the time, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect: only about a 20-minute walk to the center of Grand Baie, and at the same time an ideal starting point for trips all around the island. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone without hesitation and would be very happy to come back!

Gelegen in Cap Malheureux, 2,1 km von Strand Cap Malheureux und 15 km von Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden entfernt, bietet die Unterkunft Lakaz Kannell - Vanilla Lodge, secluded outside... great place to stay- this was our home for 3 nights & even though it was raining a full day we had a lovely time; a rental car is a must when visiting mauritius (in our opinion) :) we truly recommend this place (plus: value for money & with super lovely owners) :)

Die Unterkunft Villa White Horizon by Sealodge, die in Pointe aux Cannoniers gelegen ist, 900 m von Strand von Pointe aux Cannoniers und 16 km von Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden entfernt,... We had an amazing 12 day stay at the villa. It was a great location with the closest beach being our favourite on the island! There is so much space and the decor is beautiful. The housekeeper is wonderful and the house is kept in beautiful condition. We would love to return.

Das Coconuts liegt abseits der Royal Road in Grand Baie und erwartet Sie in einem tropischen Garten mit kostenfreiem WLAN und Privatparkplätzen. This is the best value for money you can find in Mauritius. If you go in winter (June-December), Grand Baye is the place to be (the rest is probably covered by clouds and under rain). No surprise properties on the beach in the area cost a ton of money. In comparison, Coconuts has a fantastic price, while lacking nothing of what the nearby hotels have to offer. You are on a private beach (super-clean, with reef accessible from the shore - just walk towards LUX and sweem in right after the little lagoon of black stones - the reef is 200 meters away, with all the corals and fish Mauritius has to offer to snorkellers). You are 8 minutes walk from a good restaurant, and 5 minutes drive from city center with plenty of shops and street food. The facility offers grill and has a kitchen, so you can just cook any meal. Unlike many other hotels I've been to which offered a kitchen, here you have salt, oil, and some spices available to use. There is a free (!) laundry service too, and the rooms are cleaned daily. Lux hotel bar with cocktails is just 1 minute walk away.

Die Dodola Lodge liegt gegenüber dem Strand Péreybère, der als einer der besten Strände der Insel gilt. Loved the relaxed but well thought out aesthetics of this place and the location is great if you want to stay in the North without being in the super touristy spots. Lots of amenities like restaurants and a supermarket are within a few steps.
