Shanti is a little haven of perfect tranquility and only a few meters from the beach. Our room was spacious, clean with thoughtful decor and accessories including some interesting books. I loved the individual paintings both inside and out. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. We arrived extremely early without warning and were offered breakfast immediately which was above and beyond but extremely thoughtful and much appreciated. They had our room ready for us within a few minutes so that we could enjoy our day around the pool. Mr Luis welcome was terrific and it was lovely to meet Manni the owner and share some of his abounding energy. We would highly recommend staying at Shanti and will certainly rebook next time we are back in El Paredon.

Such beautiful charm. Its súper clean and quiet. Fast Wi-Fi and very helpful staff. Fantastic value for money. Kitchen GREAT even though I never used it haha. Loved the little fans and nets with each bed. I extended my stay here and would have stayed longer if they had the space. Only 5 minutes from beach and thank god because that meant you get peace and quiet from the party scene by the beach.

Die in Bacalar gelegene Unterkunft Pucté 13 bietet kostenloses WLAN, einen Garten mit einer Terrasse sowie Seeblick. Sehr schönes Fleckchen. Die kleinen Häuser sind inmitten eines gepflegten Gartens und man hat direkten Zugang zum Wasser. Nebenan gibt es ein einfaches Restaurant, welches für Frühstück und Lunch genutzt werden kann. Wir fanden das Essen super. Mit dem Auto ist man wirklich innerhalb von 10min im Stadtkern. Wir haben Bacalar sehr genossen. Es ist touristisch nicht so überlaufen, wie andere Orte. Trotzdem gibt es sehr süße Restaurants und Cafés. Pluspunkt ist auch: Warme Duschen. Hatten wir nicht überall. Wir können es absolut empfehlen!!!

The cabins were amazing and really comfortable! They are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The bed is comfy and the net does protect you from any mosquitoes which might have gotten into the room, although I didn’t see any inside (there were many outside, but repellent kept them at bay). The staff was friendly and ready to help, and they lent us beach chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach. The pool was slightly cold, but still quite pleasant and clean! The Wi-Fi works perfectly well for working remotely, and there are sufficient power outlets inside and outside the cabins. On the TV there is Netflix and other streaming platforms. There is also a temazcal (traditional sauna) which works on scheduled days and can seat large groups. There is no kitchen inside the cabins, but there is a fridge to keep food fresh, and there is a shared kitchenette with an electric stove, near the site’s entrance, and the staff can lend you a pan to cook a quick meal. Hot coffee is prepared and served for free twice a day. There is sufficient, safe, and convenient parking space for all guests, and the staff lends you a little trolley so your luggage can be carried around easily to your cabin without getting soiled with sand. I would definitely recommend it to any traveller, and I will surely come back with my family one day! The property has one pet-friendly cabin only, so if you are coming with your pet it’s worth booking and letting them know in advance.

We had a wonderful stay in this piece of heaven. We stayed in one of the wooden lodges with warm (!!) outdoor showers. If you look up you just see the trees and birds! We saw and heard the toucan from our room, saw the hummingbirds sitting in the trees and around the feeder, and even heard a nightjar at night! There is a small fridge with beverages to purchase in the room, and free coffee and tea. The food at breakfast and dinner is wonderful (I tried many new things) and there is always good energy in the kitchen, everyone is so friendly! Marcella also has a lot of really helpful travel advice and always looked out for how to help! :) Thank you so much for this amazing stay!

Das Caribbean Beach Cabanas in Placencia ist eine Unterkunft nur für Erwachsene und bietet Ihnen einen eigenen Strandbereich sowie kostenfreie Leihfahrräder. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig, das Personal war sehr freundlich und man konnte sich kostenslos SUP, Kajaks und Schnorchelausrüstung ausleihen. Zudem konnte man alles fußläufig erreichen.

Rooms were very spacious and comfortable! Tours through the hotel were very easy to set up and guides were great! Bar/ restaurant was very good! We didn’t get to enjoy as much of the property as we’d liked since it was raining and we had to leave early but everything that we did see was just as perfect as the pictures online show
