We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. A sun terrace and a private beach area can be found at Tammoyo Place, along with a garden. We liked the remote location. We had hut next to the sea. The food was excellent and was prepered according to our requests (2 persons are vegetarians and 2 person sea food lovers).

Accessible only via a 600-step staircase, the property is located adjacent to the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve. Guests will have access to some of Sabah's most unique wildlife. Boat cruises and jungle-trekking activities are included in every stay. We were very glad to have spent three beautiful days and two nights in this cabin. What impressed me most was the food here every day. It was so delicious and very professional. Jason showed great care to every guest and remembered everyone's preferences, making us feel at home. Moreover, Jason is proficient in multiple languages, which is amazing. During our communication with him, we also gained a deeper understanding of the land we came to, and he provided us with many suggestions for our future travels in Southeast Asia. Every day we were looking forward to what animals we would encounter the next day. There were gains as well as regrets. We saw many kinds of hornbills and proboscis monkeys, and also had two close encounters with the orangutans living near the cabin. But does this mean there will be a next time and the time after that? It was a great experience and we will come again. Wish TheLast Frontier all the best.
