The area is magic, beautiful. The heater worked amazingly well. Beautiful view from the cabin. Everything was nice. Best I could ever ask for, for this price.

Unique. Every road trip through Norway is worth making a detour here. Breathtaking views, free boat and kayak rental. The host was incredibly kind and showed us everything we needed to know. Far away from the usual tourist crowds. Everyone fell in love with this small, peaceful place – a hidden gem that leaves a lasting impression. Sadly we stayed only one Night. This was definitely not our last visit.

I had a wonderful stay at this new container hotel. The property feels very fresh, with all the equipment and fittings being modern, high-quality, and well maintained. Everything was spotless and clean, which made the stay extra comfortable. The design is sleek yet cozy, and the riverside location adds a very relaxing vibe—you can really unwind while enjoying the scenery. There’s also a comfortable outdoor seating area with a fire pit, which made the evenings extra special. Sitting by the fire with the river beside you was an amazing experience.

Surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to local stores and amenities, it provides the best of both worlds—serenity without isolation. The rooms are large and airy, with plenty of natural light, and all the facilities provided were in excellent condition. From a fully equipped kitchen to cozy common areas and comfortable bedrooms, everything was just as described and more. One of the standout features is the availability of an electric car charger, which was a major convenience for us as EV users. It made our travel plans much easier and stress-free, and it’s a great addition for any future guests who rely on electric vehicles. Communication with the owner was smooth and efficient from the start. They were easy to contact, responsive, and very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was reassuring to know that assistance was readily available if required, though everything ran so smoothly that we hardly needed it. Overall, this property is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. My friend and I came here for a nature experience in comfortable surrounds and the experience was spectacular. It was also only made possible through a very solicitous host who picked us up with his own boat when the boat we took dropped us at the wrong island. We were warmly greeted by his entire family who, in turn, did us another favour, and were taken very close to the cabin by car; at the schoolhouse a table had been set for us to eat at. We had to walk up the hill for less than ten minutes, which was fine for us, but would be impossible for someone with a heavy suitcase, so we would recommend coming here with only a backpack. The little box was both cosy and roomy and we enjoyed just sitting, reading and taking in the view. Everything about the place was luxurious - the design, the bed, the scenic WC, the seats outside from which to enjoy the view, the precise position of the cabin - but some food would have been greatly appreciated, if even at an added charge. It seems obvious and we went prepared with groceries, but because of the day of the week the only store open on Florø had a limited range and we subsisted mainly on supermarket bread during our trip. Bear in mind that weather is, of course, variable, and if you're booking far in advance you don't know whether you'll end up with heavy rain; potential guests should be okay with that. Even with rain, Reksta was the highlight of our trip.

Wow! What a place to stay. Although the cabin is small, it is cosy and comfy. There is a stovetop and kettle, so if like our stay, the weather isn’t great, you can have something warm to eat and drink The views are awe inspiring. It is a place to sit and relax with the beauty of the Norway fjord and countryside feeding your soul.
