Rotorua Regional Airport is 2 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The attention to detail throughout the lodge made it feel very warm and homely. We really liked the selection of board games available and being able to light the fireplace of an evening. The shower pressure and heat were amazing after a day of exploring Rotorua. Anne was very friendly during our stay.

Kuirau Park and the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute are less than 10 minutes' drive away. three single beds in one room, queen size in the other, with dining set and armchair. Good fridge, plenty of crockery and cutlery. We didn't use the spa bath but it looked good. staff were all friendly and helpful.

The property has lake and river views, and is 12 km from Paradise Valley Springs. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Friendly staff and the fireplace kept the whole house nice and warm. The house was kept very clean too.
