The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

A balcony with city views is offered in each unit. A great experience staying at Lake Titicaca. Very friendly and sincere people Raul and Celia. We arrived late, Raul organized our arrival and dinner. The house is huge, very spacious, excellent beds, beautiful terrace with chairs and a sunbed. The shower has hot water. The toilet is used with sawdust. It is warm during the day but very cold at night. It didn't disturb our sleep as we received hot water bottles to warm our feet and plenty of thick blankets. Sleeping was comfortable until morning. For a small fee, Raul organized a boat tour around Uros, sharing a lot of interesting information. He recommended kayaking, lunch at a restaurant, and he would take us everywhere and bring us back by his boat. We participated in fishing with nets. Highly recommended.

Uf, very peaceful and quiet, amazing sunset. But, very cold during the night. You can have a gas heater all night but we switched it off and it was really cold during the night and morning. Just to know before where you go. But the place and the breakfast was amazing.

It was super cool to stay so close to nature, yet in a really comfortable conditions. The hotel staff was super nice to us and even organized a private tour of the Uros island for no extra charge! Keep in mind that the meeting point with boat is not the main port of Puno, but a smaller Kalapajra port. Be sure to text them in advance to confirm the meeting point and arrival time for the boat to pick you up without delays.

If you're looking for an authentic stay on Lake Titicaca, look no further! They made us a generous dinner when we arrived, gave us hot water bottles to stay warm during the night (we were impressed by our room, great view and plenty of space), breakfast the next morning, and Eddy kindly took us for a little boat tour around the area before our Taquille excursion, and even showed us his new kittens!!! They also kept our luggage for us after we checked out, and both taxis from our bus in Puno to take us to the dock were very punctual.

Juan - host - is extremely friendly and helpful - he will explain everything also will meet you at the boat station and tell everything about Uros as he lives there for all his life.
