The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable.

Highlight du séjour: la rencontre avec les dauphins et le coucher de soleil sur le fleuve avec la nuée de chauve-souris. A recommander sans aucun doute.

Situé à Yucuruche, l’établissement Libertad Jungle Lodge comprend une terrasse. Vous pourrez profiter d’un jardin sur place et pratiquer la pêche ainsi que le canoë-kayak dans les environs. The staff are exceptional. My guide Joel came and picked me up from the airport and took me to the lodge in safety, which is approximately 2-3 hours travel. During my stay I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. The food was fresh and amazing every time with freshly made juices from local fruit in every meal. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms feature your own balcony with an incredible view. Regarding the facilities, the lodge is located on the river and is built with natural materials, so of course, expect to see insects. You are in the jungle after all! The mosquito nets do a really good job though, so I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Expect to hear wildlife noises from your room, although I quite enjoyed waking up with the sound of birds every day. The activities were super organised, and they offer a big variety for day and night experiences. All of them are wildlife experts, you get a personal guide, a personalised tour and a boat driver at all times. Don't forget to tip your guides! They will totally deserve it as well. They try their hardest to make your experience an amazing one! If you are crazy about wildlife, I recommend Joel. He could spot all sorts of animals from a distance, so I got to see a lot of different species. Both, with Wilson, the canoe driver, they had amazing coordination. I totally recommend the lodge and I would do it all over again. When you get there, you will see there are other lodges as well, which seemed to target tourists more, but not sure either. I am happy I chose this one and got to support their community!

Has a/c in the rooms. So grateful for that after long sweaty active days. Food is hearty and homemade. GO, you wont regret it!
