Seniors and those with mobility problems might have a bit of trouble with the steps. Overall, the place great and we would love to go back.

The room was spacious with a great quiet aircon and a beautiful communal space to cook and eat so this was perfect for our long term stay and great value! Great vibe in the lodge and Jaz and Lynn were so helpful!

The owners and staffs are super friendly, to be honest, it felt like visiting relatives you haven’t seen in a while! Took me a while before writing a review, it breaks my heart knowing we already left this place! They organised most of our activities: surf sessions, island tours, airport pick ups, motorbike rentals, in-house massage, list of places to dine at. They made our honeymoon run smoothly, introduced us to the best people and places in Siargao, and gave us the best memories of our lives! You’re not booking just a property to stay at, it’s a whole vibe and experience you’re booking with Maomao Surf!

Our stay in La Fuga is one of the best stays of our life. We travel often and this is actually the first time we experienced this kind of service. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. Cleaning service is daily and towel changed every other day. The position is great. 7 minutes by scooter to General Luna, close enough to have lots of green and a peaceful stay. The receptionist and his helper, our kuyas, are always there to help. We asked for scooter rentals, jeep rental, island hopping excursions and airport transfers, everything all arranged by them even the day before. They always do their best and put a lot of effort for you to have a smooth stay. They have created a Whatsapp conversation for our group so they be easily reacheble and work as a concierge service (which makes a HUGE difference vs the other hotels in siargao). We will go back and reccomend this place to all our friends going to siargao !
