Location was great: safe and central, train station is just a short walk away. Cafe Saudade where the breakfast is being served is actually on the way to the station, just a couple minutes walk. Breakfast itself was nice and filling. Both common areas as well as the room itself had a super cosy vintage atmosphere. We were a bit worried after being informed that our room is located in minus floor, however it had a nice window and we were immediately put at ease. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Staff deserves a separate good word, especially the young dark-haired lady who was outstandingly welcoming and helpful with the recommendations.

Amazing mansion, well maintained and decorated. I felt myself like in old movies of Victorian times but with modern amenities like walk-in shower, hot water and comfy mattress with nice bedding. The location is right in the middle between Sintra and Cabo da Roca and very close to amazing Monseratte Palace. We had a room upgrade for free and also could leave our luggage for couple of hours at a property after check-out. Breakfast was tasty, internet fast, and even though the house is right near the road I heard no sound at all with windows closed. And we could see a Pena Palace through the window on the top of a hill. Charming place!

Amazing view, big room with a kitchenette, huge bed. Very nice and helpful people work there, 15 min by foot to Praia das Macas (shop and restaurants), and 10 min to Azenas do Mar. Try a path along ocean side on the cliff. Windy but amazingly beautiful. The place has it's vibe, shanti, beauty and harmony. The whole place is somehow relaxing. Small swimming pool is a part of it. Looking to the ocean from the infinity swimming pool on the cliff = priceless! Breakfast can be delivered to the room. To have if with an amazing views is a part of happyness the place creates.

This Chalet was such a surprise for me and my family. It looks amazing. Very confortable and warm. Cozy and well decorated. It has free parking inside the property which is definetly a plus in Sintra. Close to the center but outside the busy streets. We regret not staying longer.

Historical mansion Chalet Relogio was designed by Italian architect Luigi Manini, who also planned the Escala in Milan.

The location is brilliant, in a walking distance (10) to the old center and to all the major attractions. Beautiful and authentic property that fits the surroundings. Very friendly owner and staff, the breakfast was exceptional with lots of delicious choices and prepared with care! Green surrounding, quiet with a lot of outdoor space and privacy! I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to make their Cintra experience magical!

Great historical building and lovely hosts taking care of us. Definitely Premium level of hosting. The house is situated in a park like plot right next to the museum of Paula Rego by architect Souto de Moura. A very inspiring place to stay for people who appreciate art and heritage accompanied by all modern amenities. The breakfast was one of the best we had in an accommodation in Portugal. Thanks for the great time! We love this house and will be back if we are in the Cascais area again.
