Great little oasis in Mbour. You don't see it from the outside and we were very positively surprised when the gate door opened. We had a big room with beautiful decoration. The pool is very refreshing. The staff is super friendly and helpful! We also had dinner one evening and it was delicious. I can highly recommend Keur Ama and would always go back when I am in Mbour.

A beautiful hotel -- in the most wonderful location, sand and ocean. We loved the decor and our room was large. We were lulled asleep by the sound of the ocean each night and woke to sunny skies. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

Wonderful stay, everything was perfect!

Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool

Very well prepared breakfast ! Looking at the horse ranch made it a very unique experience. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Agnes and Cheikh are amazing!

I had such an amazing stay at Hotel Joal Lodge.  The welcome from Samuel and Ndeye Awa was incredibly warm. I cannot stress enough how kind and helpful and friendly they were. They gave excellent advice about the area and various sightseeing options, sorted my cabs, recommended special Senegalese dinner options (always delicious), and even invited me to share lunch with them whenever I happened to be around at the time.  My room was large, with really cool decor (pink walls, giraffe print bedding, bamboo/ thatched ceiling, pebbled concrete, stylish light fittings), and the shower was a dream for hot water and pressure. A/C worked great too..  The grounds of the Lodge are nicely manicured, the pool was refreshing, and there is a really nice semi-covered roof terrace that offered amazing sea views. The area is also a birdwatcher's paradise.  The Lodge is a 5-10 minute walk to Fadiouth island, 10 minute drive to the Sacred Boabab tree, and 30 minutes drive to an entry point to the Sine-Saloum delta.  Merci beacoup Hotel Joal Lodge for the fabulous visit!
