We were extremely happy with our stay at Olive Tree Village, although we had to cancel our hiking plans due to Typhoon Gaemi and spent our time in our room or in the cafe. The reason for this is that the operators are super friendly people and the cafe is very lovingly furnished so that our young daughter never got bored despite the circumstances. The food was very healthy and lovingly prepared and the hosts helped us in advance before our stay (hiking routes, ordering drivers) and also with our travel plan changes due to the typhoon. We plan to visit Taiwan again and will definitely stay at this accommodation again.

We liked that the place was very nicely decorated, cabin-style. The rooms are comfortable too, and they had insect nets at the windows. The dinner and breakfast were very wholesome and delicious as well! I also liked that there was a creek nearby with a pathway which was very easy to explore.
