It’s in a fantastic location. Under the mountains in a farm. Very safe. Very private. The host is super accommodating too. The Wagyu steals are divine. I suggest you choose your steaks when you arrive to collect the keys. Was a beautiful sunset.

The Log Cabin Lodge is an amazing little gem in Stellenbosch! Everything was absolutely perfect - location is great, views are breath-taking, property is super nicely done, rooms are spacious and have absolutely everything you might need and more! Breakfast was awesome as well! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the co-owner Helene answered all my questions before we came. There is nothing I can fault and I am looking forward to returning and staying longer next time!

Had such a lovely, peaceful stay in the Shiraz cottage. The best host, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. From firewood to recommendations. It was quiet and private, lovely views of the mountains and close enough to Tulbagh for some wine tasting. Would 100% go back for another visit!
