Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City.

The elegantly furnished rooms offer views of the reserve and come with en-suite bathroom. The suites have a lounge area. Game drives were excellent. Hosts were fantastic and the food was exceptoinal. All set in a beautiful location.

The main area consists of 2 lounges, a cocktail bar, a dining room and a fire pit.

Each of the suites at Black Rhino Game Lodge is air conditioned and has a private bathroom with free toiletries. Everything about Black Rhino was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was top class every evening. The game drives were incredible and the staff went above and beyond every time. Big thanks to the game drivers ( and to our driver Dolphie especially) and staff who do a wonderful job

With Black Rhino Game Lodge reachable in 1.6 km, Umoya Safari Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything about the experience at Umoya was exceptional. The pre-arrival communication was fantastic. The staff during our stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and seemed proud of their job. The food was top notch (thanks David and Happy!). The setting is amazing and the photos don’t do the rooms or communal spaces justice. We did two game drives over our stay and Rassie was equal parts friendly and knowledgable.

It’s an amazing lodge! It had everything one could wish for! It’s hard to explain how wonderful it really was! Emma our tour guide was brilliant! She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! You will not regret staying at this lodge!

Located in Matlhagame, Makanyane Lodge provides accommodation with a private pool, a patio and garden views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home has an outdoor fireplace and wellness packages. The lodge itself is out of this world. The layout of it means it's can easily accommodate a large group of people but still provides privacy. Each room had an outdoor shower in addition to the indoor one which was amazing! We loved the boma area and spent the evening sat around with a few drinks. The game drives were great. We didn't get to see any cats, but we're fortunate enough to see lots of other animals, including some black rhino and a random hippo on our drive out after check out!

Kgorogoro(Pronounced chorochoro :) is one of my favorite places we've stayed, and we travel :) we came as a family 2 adults and 6 kids . It was PERFECT. Whether you're going as a huge family or just a honeymoon couple, it is accustomed to every one of your needs. The location is magical, the facilities and rooms are clean and beautiful. All staff are the kindest people. So sweet, warm, and giving. Ranger Ryan made our trip. He was our everything :) Day or night, he was ready to take us on a game drive. And pretty much made sure we were always comfortable. There is no doubt in my mind that we are coming back. Thank you for the most unbelievable experience. Camille & Acher

Located in Matlhagame, within 4.2 km of Black Rhino Game Lodge and 37 km of Valley of Waves, Ntamba Safari Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and an outdoor swimming pool. This lodge features a private pool, a garden and free private parking. This place blew our minds. It was so much more than we ever expected it to be. The place is enormous and beautifully decorated. The facilities are excellent and the staff were amazing. Plus, we had no idea it would include our own private safari guide whenever we wanted it. Just amazing! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. We had a wonderful stay at Nkala! Our bungalow, the lion suite was exquisite! The kitchen, lapa and boma were all wonderful and well-equipped for our self-catering needs. The lapa overlooking the waterhole was our favorite place to hang out and relax. It even has a loo so you don’t need to trek back to your rooms. But, our Ranger Ellie, was the star of our visit. She gave us a wonderful, wide-ranged bush experience from wildlife to landscapes along with some wonderful birding. Thank you so very much Ellie and the Nkala staff for the marvelous experience.
