From the reception by Sarah to the departure was an excellent stay, it was an attic (up 2 flights) in a very spacious room. We had the evening meal with lots of lovely food, not expensive and the ice cream sundae with fruit from their garden was exceptional (Michael was the waiter) We had a very restful night and felt refreshed, ready for the next stage of our journey. The breakfast(included in the room price was excellent with fresh bread and another fruit sundae. Could not have faulted anything.(but see below)

It is always a pleasure to stay here. We have stayed here for the 3rd time, this time only one night to break down our travel to the south. There is a river running next to the houses, amazing for children to play and look for frogs and toads.

A lovely place, great service and friendly staff. It is a spectacular venue, recently renovated with great taste. The room was comfortable and stylish. We arrived quite late in the evening, not having booked and not expecting to be served a meal, To our surprise, the very friendly receptionist kindly offered to serve us a platter of cheese, saucisson and hams which was absolutely delicious. We were on our way to the south of France so only stayed one night, but next time we would love to stay longer. We definitely recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay on 12/1/23. Downstairs is a spacious lounge with a small kitchen area. Upstairs is a delightful bedroom with show and adjacent loo. All very clean and breakfast was great-fresh coffee etc. Host was a delight and very kind. We will definitely stay here again on our way to Paris. Great price compared with rip-off Britain--sad to say!!
