They treat you like you re a part of their family and serve you one of the best food I ever had in my LIFE! The Eco Lodge is so beautiful, it’s very clean and so cozy. The lake is infront of you and you can hear beautiful sounds of birds. The fireplace and the environment is so relaxing and you have the space only for you! We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. The room was very cozy, clean, and had a beautiful terrace — perfect for relaxing. The location is convenient, and the outdoor pool was a great way to unwind after a long trip — we really enjoyed swimming and resting there. The host was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, a great stay with excellent value for money. We only wish we had more time to enjoy it!

Leel's place is the best place we have being in entire Sri Lanka. The place is well cleaned, beautiful, calm and romantic. Leel is a wonderful host, honest and decent, taking care of everything, making sure you will have the best stay. Leel's mother cook delicious food, served so well. The breakfast was made by Leel's wife and it was so good and tasty. Leel is the best Safari guide you will ever find in Udawalawe. He knows all the best spots in the park and provided us the best Safari experience we could ever ask for. I wish Leel all the best and I definitely recommend you to visit.

Best accomodation we had in Sri Lanka! Even though we stayed only one night, owner arranged for us half day morning safari even if we arrived late evening. The accomodation is really nice, clean and spacey. Owner also provided us with tea and juice as welcome drink. He also left us to use a bathroom after the safari although It was already after check out. He also arranged for us a drive with his family to the bus station for free. Safari was great experience with the owner and his uncle with amazing breakfest in the jungle. Thank you for amazing stay! We would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a truly amazing stay at Amba Kola. The food was better than most restaurants and hospitality better than most hotels. The living space is comfortable, the area is calm and within a kilometer from the national park where you can see wild Elephants in their natural habitat.

With out a doubt one of the best locations in Sri Lanka where we have stayed in the last 3 weeks! A big room, which was extremely clean. Great bed, and perfect shower! And really close to the park. The manager and his team do everything to help you out for the park visit. And the chef makes sure you don’t have to go to the town. By the way; there isn’t anything in the town anyway, so better stay at the hotel for lunch and dinner. 👍🏻

Amazing room, extremely clean bathroom. Owner helps with everything. Delicious breakfast. Amazing garden, and proper a 5 min walk to baby elephants. Once we even met lizard on the way!
