IrelandFirst ever solo trip to a hotel. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have done more for me or made me feel more welcome. It was spotlessly clean. The spa treatment was one of the best I’ve had. Would highly recommend the hotel and will 100% be returning again in the future for another solo trip.

Umm Al Quwain is a very quite and peaceful emirate.
Umm Al Quwain is a very quite and peaceful emirate. Its a perfect place to take a break from the busy life of the city. We visited mall of UAQ. The lulu hypermarket there will cater to all our needs.
We mainly ate at the restaurants in the hotel itself, Backwaters (Keralite) and Bavaria (German). Good food and reasonably priced.

Nice and peaceful city, has everything as per necessities. Loved the sea, they have Starbucks, Hardees, KFC, McDonald's etc, what else could you wish for.
Definitely, a great place to visit and Flamingo Beach & Resort is highly recommended.
You can go for swimming by the sea, crab hunting, fishing, boating, jet ski or lay down by the sea and bathe in the sun.

Very nice and quiet area to visit. Clean area, not a lot of people or noises. Area is growing with major building projects going on. Can see the place booming in population in another 5 years from now. Very nice places to buy alcohol and pork products if you are not Muslim.

Umm Al Quwain is perfect for getting some peace and relaxation. Few people there, only few hotels, but enough shops, restaurants and facilities to get everything you need.
It is perfect for those who are looking for some quiet, away from the busy big cities.

The location is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing get away from daily madness of a busy city life. The rooms overlooked the sea and the views at sun down and sunrise were beautiful. The rooms were large and well maintained especially the bathrooms. The evening barbeque was quite delicious with the kebabs being the best feature. staff are very friendly, and eager to please.
The pathway to the beach could do with a bit more repair work- it is in many places worn down. Steps and outdoor decor needs an uplift.
We truly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this property to others.

Me and my mum had a fantastic stay at Casa Mikoko. Neha and the staff were lovely and super helpful. The hotel is incredible relaxing and feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. It reminds me a lot of being in the Maldives. The food at the restaurant is lovely - we did the all inclusive option and had plenty of food to eat at each meal. We had kayaking included which was a fun way to spend the morning. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Can’t complain at all!

The hotel is located in a quiet locality by the backwaters, which is beautiful. The chalets are comfortable and overlook the pool and beach. Food was the highlight at the Backwaters restaturant. This hotel is excellent for family staycations and is an hour's drive from Dubai. The staff are courteous and ever available to assit. Also, they offer BBQ grill facility which I experienced for the first time at a hotel. The overall experience was worth every dirham spent.

It was a weekend getaway for us and well worth it. We booked their newly renovated Executive room, beautiful design, spacious and with a balcony overlooking the sea..amazing, 😍. We luxuriated in a 90 min spa treatment, enjoyed a delicious meal at the sea facing restaurant, bowling game was equally amazing. Service all around was better than a lot of 5 star hotels yet at a much better price as compared to city hotels.
