Absolutely gorgeous place. The place used to be an old distillery which is now transformed into a hotel. Cool interior design and top notch facilities. Living room industrial retro style with a large fireplace that makes for a very cosy stay. Staff are very friendly and motivated and do a great job. Food is simple menu based on locally sourced ingredients and tradition, also very nice.

If someone is looking for a home-like environment, peace and warm and friendly hosts, this is definitely a great choice. I was looking for accommodation near the meanda of the river Vjosa and this place had excellent reviews until I thought it couldn't be true. As it turned out, the reviews fell even further short of reality. I arrived at the place at almost dark, but the local lady was already waiting for me and took me in right away. I was staying alone, but the apartment is perfect for a whole family or two couples - two separate rooms and a kitchen gives enough space for 4 people. And the terrace in front of the apartment with the possibility of a wonderful view is uncrowded. Add to that the incredibly helpful hosts who went out of their way to meet my every need. I ordered a classic local dinner before I arrived and I must say I had a great time. I left a small tip when I paid, but the hosts felt it was too much so they made me a fantastic breakfast for free in the morning and the host and I had a great conversation via google translator and I got a local specialty to go. I highly recommend this place - not only is the scenery beautiful, there are many interesting places to spend free time in the wider area, but the hosts are great and even more so than usual in Albania. I plan to come here at least one more time and not alone, but also with my family and for more than one, as now I was only here for one night and alone as part of a trip.

It was a very welcoming place, I felt like home. The owner served us self made alcohol and food at his own cost and the day after breakfast was delicious (price included). Definitely going there again!

Very friendly people, real Albanian farmers, they showed us around, cooked a traditional Albanian breakfast with home-made jam etc, it was cool and cozy. The aircon was efficient. The bathroom was small, but clean. It was also very quiet, so your sleep will be just great. The last part of the road to the farm, some 300 metres, is unpaved, but we managed to get there no problem with a compact car, so this is no issue. It may be a bit tricky to locate the farm on Google maps, bit of you compare the map at Booking.com with Google maps, you can manage it. Really great experience, recommended.
