We loved our stay at Geshtenja. The kindness and attentiveness of Zamira and her husband made our stay unique and simply amazing. The food was delicious and Zamira made vegetarian dishes for us as we don’t eat meat. The room is very spacious, with heating and aircon (we used the aircon as we travelled in summer), very comfy beds and a nice view. The location is nice if you’re looking to get away from crowded areas and looking for quiet and surrounded by nature. We’d love to be back! P.S.: Just a recommendation, if you follow google maps, will make you take a dirt pebble road and will take longer to get there. So from the main road (Rruga per Thethe), just take Rruga Reçit (a paved road, and definitely a shortcut) that will lead you directly to another paved road (where the restaurant/hotel is)

This is the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of Shkodra & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. It's one of the best apartments we've ever been to. The host, Mr. Elvis was lovely, very helpful, and informative. The room was clean and airy, the shower was on wellness level, and the view was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast was delicious. If we ever go back to Albania, we are definitely coming here.
