Gorgeous room with ensuite, luxurious, huge towels and classy lining, beautiful bathroom, ambient lighting, parking outside the door, host was fantastic, great fella, no English but we got the gist, (when using the shower make sure the fan is on, door shut and window open). Mosquito nets on windows, good storage, fridge in room that was quiet. Barbers opposite speak great English if you need a translator. Quiet place, single storey, brand new, immaculately clean. Fantastic shower after 25000 steps on a hot day. A little trot (20 mins) to the main area but everything is by you. This is accommodation with four rooms. No kettle/coffee but load of local cafes (great coffee located behind the block opposite the police station that did a take away). Perfect for an overnight stay or two in Berat for an absolute bargain. We paid on arrival in Lek but I think euros would have been preferable.

A tranquil village that becomes practically deserted after dark. There are no tourist attractions in the village itself. The surrounding area is idyllic and suitable for hiking. Apart from the restaurant, there are no evening entertainment options.
