It's well-equipped; the only thing is that the bedroom and bathroom doors need some adjustments to ensure they close properly. The restaurant is delicious and excellent! It's located in the Basque Hotel, across from the main square. The city is very pretty and well-kept, and it's very easy to get around.

It's a small, tidy, and clean town.

It's a small, tidy, and clean town. It's a pleasure to be there. We only spent half an afternoon and the evening, but that little time in the plaza, in the late afternoon, watching the town's typical rhythm and its people, was delightful. My son loves that plaza; he plays there and climbs a huge ombú tree, and he's always complaining about not having his bicycle.

Macachin is a beautiful town, ideally located for day trips to nearby towns. It also boasts a major attraction like the Salinas Grandes salt flats, perfect for spending the whole day immersed in nature and history. The streets were clean and tidy. It's incredibly peaceful.

I found the hotel in worse condition than usual.

I found the hotel in worse condition than usual. It gave the impression of neglect and a lack of enthusiasm from the staff. They seemed unhappy at their jobs. The only exception was the young man who served me in the restaurant, who was very kind and friendly. Even so, the food wasn't anything special. It's a shame, because I've always thought it was a nice place to stay.

The small town is quite far from the main road, and since we were just passing through on our way back to Buenos Aires, the journey felt very long for just one night's rest. Stay in General Acha instead, as it's on the way and there are plenty of options for an overnight stay.

It was my first time staying in Macachín.

It was my first time staying in Macachín. I found it to be a very clean, tidy, and quiet town. I only walked around the blocks surrounding the hotel. We ate at the hotel restaurant, which was a good idea. The cook was excellent. The breakfast was quite complete. They were missing fruit. The service was very friendly. For a one-night traveler, it was a relaxing stay.
