The hostel is basic but has all you need. There is plenty of space, a garden, and it's walkable from the bus terminal. Griselda helped organise a tour to the local parks with Brian, the driver. He speaks a little English and is also very helpful. Please be aware that you might have to phone Griselda when you arrive because she's not always at the hostel. The WiFi was fine.

- Lovely rooms with authentic look - Located well in the village and for trips to the national parks - very good breakfast, but mostly: - the best hotel owner ever! Mario awaits you when you arrive, gives a great explanation of the area and the best tips, he prepares breakfast himself and does everything he can to make you feel at home. Never have seen anything like this before, we would like to go back!

Beyond its proximity to the two national parks, I loved walking around the lake; the circuit is beautiful. Visiting the archaeological sites like Los Morteritos and La Roca Pintada was a must. I also enjoyed exploring the town's winery and eating goat dishes at various restaurants, all at excellent prices.

It's a place to visit overnight by car.

It's a place to visit overnight by car. The surroundings are beautiful. From there we went to Talampaya, having come from Valle de la Luna. A great place to stop along the way. We had dinner at a highly recommended place called "Friends." Very good.

It was a place I hadn't expected much from, given the number...

It was a place I hadn't expected much from, given the number of hotels in the city. The place is pretty, small, but has a good selection of restaurants and a typical Argentine countryside feel. The hotel options aren't great; you have to look around and find cabins rather than hotels. The place is worth visiting for exploring the Valley of the Moon and Talampaya National Park.

The town is very quiet; there isn't much to do, mostly just explore the beautiful surroundings. Nearby villages like Baldes del Rosario and Baldecito are very picturesque. Ischigusto National Park is gorgeous and very well organized. The scenery is breathtaking and well-maintained.

It's a very simple town, but ideally located for visiting Talampaya and the Valley of the Moon. There are few restaurants and hotels, but the friendly atmosphere of a small inland town is abundant.

It's small, with few options for eating or shopping, but it's very charming and the people are incredibly friendly. It's close to the Valley of the Moon, which is why I stayed there; it's about a 50-minute drive along a well-maintained road.
