Very good room, perfect bathroom, large comfortable bed. Breakfast was lacking fresh vegetables, but otherwise decent. Coffee was very good. It was nice that we were not rushed to finish breakfast exactly at 11.00 and could stay at the breakfast restaurant a bit longer and enjoy our coffee. Receptionists were very kind and helpful. Good and safe parking near the hotel.

Excelent human staff. Nice and clean 5* hotel - hard to find this type around San Juan. Mr Ivan from reception was great ! I think their whole staff could fit in into each modern metropolitan 5* cities hotel around Europe.

Hotel Selby has been around for over 70 years in San Juan. It is a decent hotel, but looks like it has never been updated. If you like an authentic experience and are not looking for luxury, this is a great and budget friendly hotel to stay. Staff is friendly, hot water, wifi works, and a breakfast included. We loved this place. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were wonderful and spoke just enough English to explain everything about the home and local attractions. Much appreciated! We enjoyed the quiet location, security, kitchen, modern bathroom, and ample space. The bed was comfortable, and air-conditioning was terrific as it was a hot day. We would definitely recommend it.
