We were initially unsure about the price, but the hotel more than justified it. With its many amenities—including a spa, restaurant, café, and bar—we found ourselves not wanting to leave at all. The staff was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and incredibly eager to help, even providing recommendations before we arrived. Both the café and restaurant offered excellent food, adding to the overall experience. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. Everything—from the service to the amenities—matched the price, making it well worth the money. As a thoughtful touch, they even arranged a free taxi service to the train station. We would highly recommend this hotel; it’s absolutely worth the stay.

The breakfast and dinner was phenomenal. The staff was very nice. The spa facility was great. The room was amazing, so big and so luxurious. Bad Gastein is an amazing mix of natural beauty and old-world charm, surrounded by stunning mountains and lush forests. In winter its a fantastic skiing area, and since its over 1000 meters elevated they usually have a long skiing season. In summer its great for hiking! There’s so much to do, from relaxing in the famous thermal spas to exploring endless hiking trails with breathtaking views.

Bad Gastein is a totally magical place, if you like rowdy...

Bad Gastein is a totally magical place, if you like rowdy slope side apres and a buzzy town centre, go to St Anton. Bad Gastien's signature are it's spa and the weirdly magical atmosphere the huge number of belle epoch hotels, some refurbed an open, some semi-abandoned, some totally derelict. Super convenient with the train to Munich/Salzburg, come see it before the town becomes cool again.

This is our second visit in two years, so we love this beautiful scenic town with hiking trails you can walk to from the centre. The air is so fresh, which was why we came here to escape the oppressive hot summer air of Vienna. If you can rent an apartment with a kitchen, there is also a great (huge!) InterSpar supermarket near the train station - just factor in walking up and down the steep hills!

Beautiful small city that has everything you need. In the centre you can find all in the area, you can go on foot. There is beautiful fall in the centre. A lot of great food. Good connections with buses and trains to sorounding citys.

Skiing in Graukougel is a must.

Skiing in Graukougel is a must. Fine dining at Bertahof, just north of Bad Gastin, is strongly recommended, fantastic Austrian food experience. Table reservation is needed. Eat at Schmaranz in Bad Hofgastein, everything localy produced at the farm. You'll eat by the open fire where the food is cooked. A place for meat lovers.

This is a fantastic hotel a moments walk from the train station and the main ski lift, with excellent spa facilities, friendly staff, and really good food, all delivered with really impressive value and nice single rooms great for solo travel. A lots of the guests are Swedish so if you are not you'll find the spa/bar/restaurant quieter as they tend to eat very early.

Or family really enjoyed the stay and the interaction (via text message and phone) with the hosts were excellent. Clean, nice apartment with a balcony and only 100 m to the nearest bus station where we could catch the skiing bus. Easy to park with a dedicated parking area. Overall a good place to stay when visiting Bad Gastein.

The Hotel is situated in the center of the city, making it easy to start a trip by car or on foot. Our apartment was well equipped, however, we paid for half board and the food was delicious so it was worth not cooking by ourselves. The wellness was fair, nothing extraordinary, but using the sauna after a cold day was amazing.
