We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and we were able to store our bikes in the garage. We had a lovely room with a view over the Danube and a balcony. Beds were really comfortable and the shower was great. We were the only guests (as it was Sunday night) but we still had a full breakfast laid out for 2. We ate in the restaurant which was fine. The menu is very limited though. Overall, a lovely stay.

Everything. The room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was very good, especially the coffee and the staff was very friendly and helpful. At the enclosed restaurant, Babenbergerhof, the food was delicious as well. There is a seperate room to store the bikes as the hotel is directly near the danube bike trail.

We got a room in the new building with river view, it was beautiful! Breakfast is AMAZING, so many options - hot and cold, sweet and salty, they even serve 'extras' like salmon, avocado, dairy free products, variable fruits, so many different backed goods, its really outstanding! The room had very nice atmosphere, bed is super comfy. They have a very nice lounge downstairs and a restaurant in the old building. Its located by the Donauradweg, very easy to find. Simply perfect!

We had breakfast on the large glass terrace, looking at the Danube. The owner prepared the meals, and they were all very delicious. We had all the comforts. The Spar is very close, you can cycle or run on the Danube bank, there is a playground and the forest is close by.

A charming little town on the Danube at the foot of Maria...

A charming little town on the Danube at the foot of Maria Taferl. The town boasts a top wakeboard club, the Wakesharks Marbach, which organizes a top wakeboard event once a year called the River Rumble.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Breakfast wasn't extensive, although it was good. Food was only available in the afternoon and only until 8:00 pm. The food selection was rather limited. Very clean hotel.

+ We liked everything, the view, the Danube, the food! _ Upon arrival, the hosts tried to offer us another room with a view of the inner courtyard, not the Danube as we had booked. Only after our insistence and refusal did they give us a room with a view of the Danube!

The pilgrimage church of Maria Taferl is definitely worth a visit, if only for the stunning view of the Danube Valley. There are some lovely restaurants nearby. Pizzeria Rialto (the owners are incredibly friendly!) – the food is delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced! They also offer Greek dishes. The café/pastry shop in Gottsdorf is also very nice!

Good, clean, spacious room. Large bathroom. Very good quality breakfast and very good coffee. The couple running the hotel were very genuine warm pleasant. I arrived late in the night, and there was no problem to check in late. Sufficient parking spaces in front of the hotel. Old style good quality hotel. Last but not least: the hotel is located near the Donau river, along a very nice driving road along the Donau with separate cycling lanes. I would surely come again when in the neighbourhood.

You would not find friendlier people and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Lovely breakfast. I would recommend anyone when visiting this area to stay here.
