This place is amazing! Everything is clean and new. Saunas and pool are relaxing and so is the view to the mountains. The brunch/breakfast is delicious and very plentiful.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed openly and warmly by the receptionist Martina, who was only too pleased to help with making my stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The catering staff were also friendly and efficient, and the food after a hard day on the slopes was warming and delicious. In addition, they served up a superb 7 course dinner for New year's eve! The Edelweiss is a friendly, family run hotel located down a quiet side road, yet only 5 mins walk from Zentrum (Central Maria Alm), or the Natrunbahn lift station.

This was one of the coolest hotel experiences. Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations: the kids' facilities are amazing - so many options. The choice of food was excellent and very creative and tasty; the little details such as an option to make your own fresh juice from tons of ingredients, or the sushi buffet, ramen buffet, etc. The pool area is very nice, with a warm pool - and it was completely empty in the evenings. The rooms were perfect and so was cleanliness. Everything is thoughtful for children in the first place - we are definitely coming back to visit Tante Frida.

The staff's friendliness and how much heart they put into running the hotel are truly remarkable. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. (I've been going to the mountains for years, but I’ve never stayed this close to the slopes with such convenience. We were here with kids, and being able to quickly move from the slopes to the warmth of the hotel was amazing—anyone with a 3.5-year-old will understand exactly what I mean!) It's also great that there's a pool in the hotel. Last but not least, the food is excellent. There’s also a beautiful ski room and convenient parking right at the hotel.

Family run hotel and ideal If travelling with children . When we arrived it was like some crazy kindergarten with kids running riot and no parents in sight . Wouldn’t recommend if travelling as a couple and want peace and quiet . Kids playing knock down ginger at our door and running away when trying to have a rest after a day skiing . They were feral. Bar across the road was pretty noisy every afternoon and early evening . Room was good size and comfortable bed. Great choice of breakfast but didn’t eat there in evening .. bar and lounge area extremely quiet in evening. No tea or coffee making facilities in room which was disappointing. Staff were very pleasant and friendly though didn’t speak English we got by. Wouldn’t return but it if you want the feel Of staying with mad relatives this is for you

Great to get a summer pass that included free bus travel to various local hikes/cable cars and the lifts were free also with the pass, like the bus service. It was great not to use our car. The twon is cute and clean. A little small.

Maria Alm, shall be connected with other Ski areas in the region - the skipass Hochkoenig is more expensive and offers nothing spectacular apart of the fact that you can also use the ski areas 150 km away (but who cares ???) I was very dissapointed that Saalbach / Hinterglem / Leogang and Maria alm are so close but you have to buy separate skipasses . That is nothing you expect. In my opinion it is a big a disadvantage. All the rest ok

Hinterthal is a very special location. The Hochkönig towers fabulously above the township. Quiet surroundings. Apartment access very easy. Clean and modern. Kitchen well equipped and quite spacious. Very good WiFi. Beds comfortable. Room decor is interesting and quirky. Nothing was missing. Undercover access for our motorcycle. Always a nice touch for motorcyclists.

It was amazing, such a vibe we loved the place. Comfy beds, fluffy bathrobes, amazing view from our room to the mountains. The breakfast was like in a 5* hotel, and I'm not exegarating. Had 2times dinner, very tasty, recommend. The staff was also very helpful and nice. We will return for sure. 😊

Beautifully designed hotel with a great natural pool and other wellness facilities. The staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Second time we've stayed here and it didn't disappoint.

Great hotel with very kind staff and excellent dinners! The spa is also very nice and clean. It was our second stay and we will come back again! The regular rooms are a bit small, but the apartman was amazing!
