The Apartments were cosy and clean.The Waterfall in the yard is very refreshing and must to try:).Also, the view all around the house and if you go a little bit up(especially in the evening) is breathtaking.Moreover , there are many beautiful hiking places around.Many thanks to the host Richard who made this stay more memorable.Its definitely the place where you would like to come back someday. A Wonderful Stay at a Family-Owned Gem - Post Krimml Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming, family-owned hotel, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. Due to bad weather, I arrived much later than expected—around 11:00 PM—well after the reception had closed at 8:00 PM. However, they thoughtfully left my key card in the mailbox, allowing me to settle in seamlessly for the night. The following morning, I went to the reception, where I was greeted with such warmth and kindness. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy for me as a non-German speaker. Not only was the service fantastic, but they also provided me with two complimentary cards: one for free entry to the Krimml Waterfall and the other, a summer card with additional perks. Their breakfast was simply amazing—delicious and plentiful. The room itself was very comfortable and relaxing, with all the amenities I needed. The highlight, though, was the breathtaking view from my balcony, where I could actually see the stunning Krimml Waterfall. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the beauty of the surroundings, made my stay truly unforgettable. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Post Krimml Hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay with excellent service, great amenities, and an unbeatable location

We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment.

We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment. It was amazingly big with enough space for everyone and everything. Very well equipped, super clean and cozy. We could easily travel to nearby skiing resorts by our car (parking in front of the doors) but ski bus stop was very close. Our hosts were sweet young couple who was very helpful and nurturing. Definitely will come back once we want to visit the area again!

This location was not our first choice.

This location was not our first choice. As cyclists we were forced to alter our desired destination because of a recent flood that wiped out the accommodations we thought we would have preferred in Krimml. Ironically, our 2-night stay at Schöeneben turned out to be our favorite destination of a 3 1/2-week bicycle tour of Bavaria and Austria. We were easily able to get to our desired destination by bicycle on our full day in between our two nights and incidentally unencumbered with panniers. The location was incredibly beautiful and being up from the river and cycle path offered views that would have been unavailable if our original wish had come true. We were extremely pleased. Schöeneben was not only our lodging, but the restaurant hosted by a husband and wife team provided the most delectable dining experience of our tour. We would enthusiastically return if it becomes possible in our future travels.

Absolutely perfect. The host couldnt do anymore for me. As a disabled traveller he could see i was struggling and instead of charging more money like some hotels (yha innsbruck) to move me to a lower ground floor room. This kind gentle man gave me a downstairs apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for him, always attentive, always there when i needed anything. God bless you sir, i wish there were more like you.

The hotel is not new,but the room was brand new with brand new equipment. Nice bedroom,very cosy beds, roomy living room,cosy chairs and couch,strong and stable Wi-Fi. Fully equipped kitchen,including dishwasher. Free parking. Nice views.Our visit was off season, so the village was quite empty. Over all very nice place to stay.

Very comfortable apartment. Small, but cosy, we had everything we needed. Electric heater in the bathroom and floor heating was a big plus, since even in the summer it can get really cold in the mountains. There was no hair dryer, but they provided it. Nice view from the balcony.
