    This is the fifth time I have visited Zauchensee and it...

    This is the fifth time I have visited Zauchensee and it never disappoints. Snowfall on arrival and snowfall on departure - a few bluebird days in between and my children had an excellent skiing experience. The FirstPeak hotel is superb for families as a ski-in/ski-out option and I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here for the comfortable rooms but mainly the superior food - the best I've tasted on a skiing holiday. Only downside is that Zauchensee has limited options for buying snacks/drinks as there is no supermarket, and no pharmacy unless you travel into the nearest village.

    A new stylish hotel, close to the ski lifts (5 min walking in ski boots), amazing ski room with lockers that your room card opens. A lot of fun facilities for the kids, clean pool with warm water. The room had plenty of space and drying surfaces to have your base layers and swimsuits dry by the morning.

    The hotel impressed me with its diverse meal options, including a commendable selection of vegetarian choices—a rarity in Austrian catering. The perfect location (closed to the lift) and free covered parking.

    We stayed just for an overnight, hotel is close to the hiking tracks and just next door to the lift. The apartment is a bit outdated but had everything we needed.

    The dinner is extremely expensive. 79 Euro per person and the taste is definetely not worthed. The hotel pool is very small and massage is very weak.
