Everything. We had a super three days in Albany and staying at Casa Melina was a highlight. It is such a wonderful space and has clearly been renovated with love. Communication was great as well. We filled our days visiting lots of the great sites and places around Albany and it has been lovely to come back to this super house to chill and relax. We played quite a few games in the evening. The house had everything we could ask for. We couldn’t ask for more. All great memories of a super holiday.

Visited the National ANZAC Centre, always a highlight of our Albany visits and not to be missed. In general Albany is just a really nice town to spend some time in, still the way towns used to be with a vibrant town centre shopping area and eateries.

I am a regular visitor to Albany and class myself as almost...

I am a regular visitor to Albany and class myself as almost a local resident because I am here that often. I would recommend going to the Anzac Centre, the Whaling Museum and the Amity Museum. The main shopping area is compact because everything is spread across a couple of streets and convenient to walk around. The people are friendly and the weather is nice and pleasant. I don’t think I can adequately describe Albany but I hope that this will help you.

Albany is one of our favourite places to visit.

Albany is one of our favourite places to visit. It has just abou t everything you need for a good holiday. Magnificent scenery, great fishing, lovely beaches close by, and the town itself has not been ruined by developers. A lot, if not most of the original buildings still remain and is full of history, and if ever you need a good breakfast you'll find Dylans cafe on Stirling Terrace hard to beat!

The tourist attractions we wanted to see were spot on.

The tourist attractions we wanted to see were spot on. The town and area where we stayed was clean and tidy. A lovely place. The Anzac Memorial site was fantastic, my grandfather was killed at Gallipoli and the information and effort that has gone into this is such a great memorial to all. The Gap and Natural bridge is a nice spot to visit. Middleton beach, the whaling station, the Amity were all nice to visit.

Albany has so much to offer visitors, I say visitors because...

Albany has so much to offer visitors, I say visitors because that is the best way to approach Albany. Friendly folk and beautiful coastline but remember that Albany can bring you all 4 seasons in one day so be prepared for that. Not a single traffic ;light in the town jus roundabouts which makes driving very easy. Take time to search out the local tour operators and the local farmers markets , you wont be disappointed. One of my favorite places on the planet

Very quiet when we visited (end of September) went to...

Very quiet when we visited (end of September) went to Denmark first which was absolutely amazing! Went on a highly recommended whaling cruise boat trip in the morning - saw whales - and visited the whaling factory museum in the afternoon. So many beautiful beaches in the area. Definitely worth the drive and will come again in the future during the summer.

Pet friendly! Comfortable beds. Great fridge. Great size shower with rails, which is good for elderly travellers. The grounds around the cabins were very well maintained, lots of grass, shady trees and sheltered BBQ gazebos between cabins . There was an amazing camp kitchen facility and Laundry which would useful if we were staying longer. These are older style cabins, clean and comfortable. Peaceful environment. Suited us for a single night stay. Staff were helpful, welcoming and polite.

It's a newish hotel and in great condition. I like the 'buy your own minibar' concept at reception. I didn't use it, but I understood it and it made sense. I also liked the Call & Collect 'room service'. The menu is fairly small but adequate. Best hot chips I've had for a long time came with my Mobley Burger. Fantastic location, although the days I were there were very windy (it's Albany!). But the walk along the marina was great.

Great location with a partial view of the ocean. We didn't take the option of breakfast. Close to Middleton Beach and some cafe's, eateries nearby. A short drive to Albany town. All in all a good place to stay. Well equipped.
